Account Information: Your email address is collected during account creation and checkout. It is used strictly for authentication, billing receipts, and essential service alerts.
Payment Information: All payment transactions are securely processed through Stripe. RivetMC never stores or has access to your full credit card details or financial credentials.
Server Data: Server configuration files, uploaded plugins, console logs, and world save directories stored on our hosting nodes.

2. How Your Information Is Used

We use your data solely for operational purposes:

Provisioning, running, and managing your Minecraft server instance.
Processing monthly subscription renewals and managing billing records.
Providing technical support and communicating critical maintenance notifications.

3. Third-Party Services

We work with select third-party service providers to deliver our hosting service:

Stripe: Payment processing and subscription management.
Cloudflare: Web asset delivery (CDN), DNS routing, and security protection.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement standard security measures to safeguard your server files and account details. Should you cancel your subscription, your server data, backups, and world files will be scheduled for permanent deletion from our hosting nodes following a grace period.
